I read some interesting discussions on Twitter that companies should encourage employees to telecommute (work from home) when they have flu like symptoms if they cannot afford to take the day off due to economic constraints. Cutting down business travel using technologies such as telepresence when possible would surely help.

I have installed and configured the WP-Cache2 plug-in. This should make the pages in this site much faster on an average. The one downside is that the random header image also gets cached with every page, and so will change only when that page is re-cached.

The Translator plug-in just installed supports auto-translation to 42 languages and is currently configured to use Google translator. While the pages don’t get translated perfectly, most content should be readable in other languages.

The new layout has a categories-menu at the bottom of the header to make it easy for vistors to explore different topics.

When reading a post by itself (not in the main page), a list of related posts are show at the end of the post. These lead the reader to more posts that may be of interest.
